Statistics released showed that the busiest day for the centre’s team was Tuesday, December 28, when they saw record-breaking 196 patients on a single day – many arriving with nasty bruises and Bailey Button Triplet UGG Boots after falling on icy roads and pavements.

The centre’s medical director, Dr Paul Scott, said: “This Christmas and New Year has been an exceptionally busy time for attendances, but one which has clearly demonstrates the value and convenience of our services to so many local people.
